I wanted to wait and tell my family the news that we were expecting when when we were all together at the lake for Memorial Day. After our doctors appointment the Wed prior I was DYEING to tell them but because I love a good surprise I held off until that Friday.
My sister Kacey is preggers too (we are due about a month apart!!) so Angie and I were putting together a little "Yea You're Pregnant" goodie bag, which I decided would be a great way to share our news. Once we all got to the lake we gave Kacey her treats. The video picks up right after I've handed them to her.
Just in case you missed it over the screaming, it went a little something like this:

I went ahead and made myself one...because I'm pregnant too!
And I made another because...we're having twins. :)

I just loved being a fly on that wall...to see the JOY in that room with your sweet fam!! What an incredible journey you are on - so stinkin' happy for you and your little family of 6!! Wow - SIX!!!
For some reason I couldn't help but focus on the eldest of the sisters through the entire video. Being the eldest I can relate to the sense of control, and the delayed reaction as if her brain was telling her what she really heard. Love it all - I watched it twice just to get the enthusiasm felt there. Love living this through the way you did everything!
Seriously, this has been my favorite post thus far about these little miracles. I LOVED hearing your mom at the very end saying "What a blessing!" She is so right...WHAT A BLESSING these two are going to be to us and especially to the whole Purdy clan! Love you!
