Family Fair

Last night we continued tradition and brought back Family Fair Night!! It was just as glamorous as last year ;) and the boys were in a frenzy by the time our head carny (Daddy) got home. He got to work on all manner of fried deliciousness, while we let the games begin.

First up Knock 'em Down.

Coyt thought just getting a turn made him victorious! XOXO
Next up were pillow case races. A new addition oooooo ahhhhhh. Although I warned that they needed to be super careful, this lasted all of two seconds before Stacey busted it. Guess this is not a concrete floor approved activity, whoops.
But they were sure cute while it lasted. ;)
On your mark. Get set. GOOOOOO!!!!!
After the busted race dinner was ready so we took a break to dine.

Next up. Bobbing for...Limes?!? Apples are so 2012. HA! Actually just forgot to buy apples for bobbing so limes was the closest thing in the fridge.

If you'd like to hire me for any design needs. I think the drawing below speaks for itself. You know you're in trouble when you have to explain what it is you were trying to draw.

 That is commitment
 Mock grab
Coyt and Crew went with more of a, pick the lime up with their hand, approach.
 Real deal!!
Ring around a duck, or fish.

Butter molding...another new activity. I'm sure it's obvious, ;) but that is a double T.
And no Family Fair Night would be complete without a Secret Side Show attraction. Last year, as you may remember, we had the World's Smallest Horse flown in just for the occasion. That was hard to top. But we put our heads together (bahahah) and this year were able to procure the rarely seen, incredible...
 TWO HEADED BABY!!!!!!!

 :)
They had a little trouble sitting up. :)

Another, fun filled fried frenzy family fair. :)

Warriors vs. Ducks

There was an epic battle at Floyd Casey Stadium on Sat. when the Warriors took on the Mighty Duck Commanders!!

It was a Brother vs. Brother fight to the finish!!
The boys had the chance to play in an exhibition game this weekend and we just happened to luck out (helps that the coaches of both teams are good friends) and on top of it being an incredible opportunity to play at a college stadium they were going to play each other!!! It was just too much!!

They were just a LITTLE bit excited about it. ;) They kept saying we just can't believe we are REALLY going to get to play at Baylor Stadium! Stacey said one of their teammates ran out onto the field and said, "Guys this is a once in a lifetime experience!"

Super cute SUPER excited boys.

The Cs enjoyed free reign on endless bleachers.
Pre-game prayer...MELT ME. And I know it is probably rude and irreverent to take a picture during the prayer but heaven help me I couldn't resist!!
We got to cheer for every play. ;)
 Gooooo WYATT!!!
 High five!!
 Charley running it in...Stacey #4 on D!
As a house divided we had to wear green and gray. Ninja turtle shirts came in handy again. ;)
A few pictures at half time.

The Ducks

Ready for Action!
This kid is NOT playin' around

 Stacey with the pass...
 The Warriors
It was Wyatt's last game so he wrapped up the day with a medal. Score!
 Just a little excited.
Not sure who won the battle???? Hard to keep track when you're cheering for both teams. They both think they were victorious and I guess that is OK. Needless to say it was a close game and a great experience for all of us.
Until the next EPIC BATTLE!!!!

Heros in a half-shell TURTLE POWER!!

Our boys were SUPER excited about Halloween this year.

We got the costumes early and they have been playing with their weapons and shell shields for weeks! About a week before Halloween I gathered them up and put them away so that we would actually have all the necessary pieces and so that they would be extra excited to wear them on Halloween.

Coyt kept saying, "Mommy, I need How-ween." Which meant he wanted his costume.

Coyt and Crew both try to sing the theme song but instead of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles they sing TaTaTaTaTaTa Turtles!!

They Bigs had a half day on Halloween due to FBC Woodway hosting the Fall Fest so we took advantage and met Daddy at Chick Fil A for lunch. I had promised them they could have milkshakes and pizza just like the TMNTs. So milkshakes all around.
Then it was time for costumes. I wasn't sure if the littles would let me paint thier faces but when they woke up from naps and saw that Stacey and Wyatt were green they said, yes, please!
Ta-Da! Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
They're the worlds most fearsome fighting team.
They're heros in the half-shell and they're green.
When evil shredder attacks
Those turtle boys don't cut him no slack!!

TURTLE POWER!

Oh the moves, they were killing me with their moves!!
We headed over to Honey and GPs for some cousin pictures.

Little caterpillar and his big sister butterflies.

And of course Pizza!
We headed to the Fall Fest and our boys had a blast.

Tough Turtle hug. :)
Two out of four turtles looking isn't to bad. :)
The Cs kept saying "noder game Mom?"

And when they got to pick out a piece of candy they would dig until they found a dum dum.
Sorry but I swoon a little for these tiny turtles. Nom. nom. nom. Eat Them UP!!
We hit up a few houses for traditional Trick or Treating.

The twinadoes would say trick or treat about one million times before the door was opened and upon leaving declare, "I did it!" SO proud of themselves.

And that's a wrap on Halloween 2013!
