SNUG LIFE

OK, I know what you are thinking, and please don't delete me from your google reader for this little hiccup in my good sense. I've seen the commentary about the Snuggie, things like, Who in their right mind would buy this? In what delusional state must you have been in to think yes, I need a blanket with sleeves? I too thought some of these thoughts, so when Stacey wagged home a electric blue Snuggie from D-Town (Watermark's disciple now - at which apparently the Snuggie was all the rage and even part of the talk series) as an early birthday gift for your truly, I had some other thoughts. First, thanks for thinking of me babe? I do love to curl up with a blanket regardless of the weather? And then, what does this say about what my husband thinks of me that he thought I would love a Snuggie? I tried it out and it was OK, but a little thinner than I'd prefer so after the appropriate time  I went back to my normal blanket and the Snuggie was left unused for a few weeks...until Tuesday night.

Stacey came home from Krav to find me reading in bed and was making fun of my "baby hand" (think Lawrence Welk SNL skit) that was barely poking out of the covers to hold my book. We laughed for a minute and then I thought, you know what would be great right now? You guessed it, the Snuggie. And let me tell you it did the trick perfectly. Last night, same song second verse. I mean if you want to curl up and do your bible study or, well, anything that involves being hands free, this is the ticket. I have changed my tune and I am lovin' livin' the snug life!! My sincerest apologies for my narrow mindedness. Apparently my husband knows me better than I know myself. Now if only we could do something about that electric blue...

OK you look hilarious (and at least 75), but last night as I was watching my DVR I kept getting frusturated that I had to take my whole arm out from under my RH blanket you gave me to fast forward...so maybe I am a closet snuggie lover? I laughed out loud at you and Wendy, my little bobsy twin sisters:-) and I love your posts too! Stacey hit the jackpot with this gift!

Haha...you crack me up! Could that be a twinge of jealousy that I feel? Certainly not.

And in that last photo that grin looks so much like Wyatt hamming it up for the camera!

So Beth Moore had a photo of herself in one, and I thought, not a bad idea. I am always cold, so I actualy might have to get one myself. Maybe a Barney purple for yours truly?

Um...I am cracking up because I have only admitted to Sean that I want one of these. Every time I see the infomercial I get really excited and think, boy would I be the perfect Snuggie user. I'm sending Sean over to your blog right now so he can see that I'm not alone!!!! :) Just glad I don't have to be in the closet anymore. And, I'm really jealous that you don't have to bring your hand out from under the covers...

You're kidding? I can't stop laughing thinking of you putting it on. I just can't imagine myself putting on a blanket like you do a coat. Glad it works for you. I do love me a good blanket! Great post!
