I've had this collection of frames, many from Granny Liz's house, sitting in my closet for months and I was finally able to give them the facelift I had been envisioning. They started like this:
After much arranging and rearranging they are hanging over our bed. I've slowly been trying to transform our room from a lifeless catchall to a little more inviting space. I got a bedskirt several moths ago and new lampshades for my birthday so little by little.

These two display models are my favorite part of any space. They require a little more love than spray-paint can offer, but I'm up for the challenge.

GIIIRRRLLL!!!! That is A-mazing! I love it! Beautiful!! Looks like it could be in a magazine! Seriously...love it and go tell Anthro that you deserve a job there for you design skills! What a fun retreat for you to go to your bedroom. They say that should be your favorite room in the house. Check!
And that little man with the haircut is a cutie. Looks like he didn't mind a bit.
CARYN!!! It looks so good and I cannot wait to come see it in person! What a beautiful bedroom!
I love it, Caryn, I love it! Just love the white contrast on the dark brown walls. And way to be resourceful! :)
That is SO cute!! I love that you used GL's frames and made them very modern and new. I love it!
You and Kaki - my creative juices. Looks great - all about the spray paint on anything these days. I too have been giving my room a face lift. Can't wait to see the new-do on Wyatt, that snaggle-toothed grinner!
Great idea Caryn. I love it:)
