We had hoped to go to Houston over Christmas but a stomach bug derailed our trip. Thankfully Stacey was headed down for a work obligation and we were able to tag along and spend some time with friends.
Shannon was a great hostess to us all and it was fun to see her family in full swing. Hard to believe they haven't been a five pack forever!!
I didn't bust out my camera until day two but here they are on a little early morning bike ride.
That afternoon we met us with some other friends, The Scott's, and got to soak up some time with Chris and Melanie and their kiddos. Andrew was just a baby when they moved to Houston so it was like meeting him for the first time and he has personality to spare!! Such a little cutie.
The weather was BEAUTIFUL so we were able to just sit outside and enjoy every second of the R&R! Kids painting the fence with water, genius, we'll be taking this one back home!

That night we all met us at Lupe Tortilla Factory for some yummy food and fun play time.
